Track SaaS subscriptions with renewal forecasting, cost optimization insights, and access management links.

Subscription tracking

1. Navigate to Vendors → Subscriptions.
2. Click Add Subscription.
3. Provide: name, supplier, plan details, and cost.
4. Set renewal date and billing cycle (monthly, annual, etc.).
5. Link to a budget and cost center for financial tracking.

Renewal forecasting

OpsDeck generates a 12-month renewal forecast based on active subscriptions:

• View upcoming renewals on the dashboard.
• The finance service calculates projected costs per period.
• Renewals with auto-renew enabled are flagged separately.

Cost optimization

The subscription list view supports filtering and sorting by cost, enabling:

• Identification of unused or underutilized subscriptions.
• Comparison of overlapping tools.
• License count vs. active user tracking (when linked to user access data).

Access management

Link subscriptions to user access data:

• Track which users have access to each subscription.
• UAR comparisons can use subscription user lists as a dataset.
• When a subscription is cancelled, linked access records flag orphaned accounts.
