Contacts & Leads

The CRM module tracks external contacts, leads, and requirements for business development and partner management.

Contact management

Contacts represent people at external organizations (suppliers, partners, prospects):

  1. Navigate to CRM → Contacts.
  2. Click Add Contact.
  3. Provide: name, email, phone, organization, and role.
  4. Link contacts to suppliers for vendor management integration.

Lead tracking

Leads represent potential business opportunities in early stages:

  1. Navigate to CRM → Leads.
  2. Click Add Lead.
  3. Provide: company name, contact details, source, and status.
  4. Convert qualified leads to opportunities.

Requirements and actions

Track requirements from contacts (feature requests, compliance demands, integration needs):

  • Create Requirement records linked to contacts.
  • Add RequirementAction items for follow-up tasks.
  • Track status from received through assessment to completion.
