Change Management¶
Track infrastructure and configuration changes with categorization and impact assessment.
Change request workflow¶
- Navigate to Operations → Changes.
- Click Add Change.
- Provide:
- Title and description of the change.
- Category — Standard, Normal, or Emergency.
- Impact and urgency assessment.
- Planned date and implementation window.
- Link affected assets and services.
- Submit for approval.
Change types¶
| Category | Description |
|---|---|
| Standard | Pre-approved, low-risk, routine changes |
| Normal | Requires assessment and approval before implementation |
| Emergency | Urgent changes that bypass normal approval (documented post-hoc) |
Change lifecycle¶
Changes move through statuses from draft through implementation to completion. Each status transition is recorded in the audit trail. Post-implementation, the change record documents whether the outcome matched expectations.
